Firstly, Australian battery company Zenaji, based in Melbourne. Recently announced that it has closed a round of strategic funding, securing over one million dollars from a venture group based in New York. As investors are backing the safest battery in the world.
Secondly, The funds enabled the completion and release of Zenaji, AEON battery to the Australian market in May. The Zenaji battery is the first low-cost, in addition to its super long life battery available in the market. Researched and designed in Australia the company claims its AEON battery is the world’s safest, can be located anywhere, above all it will last a lifetime.
Dawson Johns, Managing Director of Zenaji, said: “These funds enabled the company to move to begin sales of our batteries in Australia and into the Philippines. With the capacity of our batteries warranted for 20 years and 22,000 cycles, solar storage now makes commercial sense”.
“The business is poised for enormous growth over coming months and years with new products about to be announced to a world which needs this advanced technology. Specifically designed for solar and wind storage the Zenaji batteries outperform all other batteries which are in fact largely designed for the car and mobile markets.” he said.
Recently the company appointed major distributors in the Philippines and in South Africa with more announcements to come.
