As a result of this high demand Zenaji are purchasing increasing numbers of LTO cells from the manufacturer. We have received a batch of LTO cells from China recently, but some of which do not meet our (Zenaji) maximum 5% tolerance requirements. As a result of this, we are offering them to our dealer network at a discounted price, which also falls at a time where some manufacturers have longer than normal lead times. Resulting in the discounted price for these particular Aeon batteries.
The 5 – 10% tolerance cells have marginally lower amperage 36 – 38ah (rather than 40ah). Based on
this, the Aeon will now be available in a 1.75kWh offering. This shall have one of the following special – either a discounted price by 8% or if you buy 8 you receive one Free of Charge, 16 (2 free) and so on – which equates to over a 12% discount. So either an additional promotional battery or a discount on price.
The Aeon varies in no other way. Maintaining the same warranty, cycles & performance characteristics and charging profiles. So its just like the regular Zenaji Aeon batteries, but are now discounted. These discounts will only be available while stocks last so please get your orders in quickly.
Our cell manufacturer has been improving their manufacturing quality and as such we can no longer purchase the “B” cells which met our requirements and which we purchased at lower cost. Thus, to maintain quality we must now must move to the more expensive “A” cells but have had the ability to negotiate significantly better pricing on these than anticipated.
As a result, the Aeon pricing will increase. Pricing to follow shortly from Ben.
That’s the bad news, however, there is a silver lining!
The price of these cells has been negotiated down considerably and so the Eternity which was aleay
priced with “A” cells has also come down in price. Furthe, if you want an Eternity even cheaper you
can purchase one for March 2022 delivery which will have 28kWh of storage (rather than 32kWh) for
an even lower price. These are very limited in quantity so its first in best dressed! Please check with
Ben on pricing and availability.
We have been working intensely to get the Eternity delivered but the shortage of parts around the
world left us with some real problems and with no choice but to redesign two of the circuit boards.
This of course meant more testing and more software upgrades. This work is all but completed and
we are very happy to report most of the stock is on the water and will arrive shortly.
There has been some reluctance expressed by some dealers to be the “guinea pig” with a new
product which may have a few teething issues. So here is what we will do for the dealers purchasing
the first few Eternity’s.
1: We will guarantee their performance if you have a specific need you want us to guarantee.
Obviously we guarantee they will meet all our standard specifications.
2: If you are not fully satisfied in the first 60 days we are offering a money back guarantee so
you don’t have to be concerned that something may not work as advertised. If it does not,
we will take the product back and refund your investment.
3: We are offering our CTO. This is to say Charlie will go to any site in Australia to perform an
overview inspection the installation of an Eternity once complete, and ensure all settings are
correct and everything is working as it should.
I trust this alleviates any concerns you may have, and we expect to deliver this product from March
2022 onwards. Our R&D tem has been working tirelessly on the Eternity to make sure it is the best
product and have tested it to the maximum to ensure reliability and performance. I commend it to
you and your clients.
