What is different about Zenaji Aeon Batteries?
The biggest difference between other batteries and Zenaji Aeon Batteries is our high cycle life and incredible safety.
Our batteries are rated for 22,000 cycles, Lead Acid batteries last around 300 cycles and Lithium-Ion variants, such as LiFePo or NMC batteries can achieve up to 5000 cycles in a similar environment to Zenaji Aeon Batteries. Our battteries use Lithium Titanate cells to maximise the performance and safety of our batteries.
How does Lithium Titanate differ to other Lithium Ion batteries?
Lithium Titanate cells use a nano-technology coating on the anode, this increase both the power the battery can provide and also extends the lifespan of the battery considerably.
Where can I install the Aeon battery?
You can install the Aeon Battery both inside or outside.
The Aeon battery is sealed from water and dust to an IP65 rating and has a wide operating temperature range which allows the Aeon battery to stand up to almost any environment.
Can I use Aeon Batteries off-grid?
Yes!
The Aeon battery is ideal for locations that require off-grid power. Our batteries can be used with Solar, Wind, Hydro, Diesel generators or any other energy system.
What inverters can I use with Zenaji Batteries?
There is a wide range of inverters you can use with the Aeon battery, we recommend Victron and Schneider inverters as the first choice. Every power system is different however and we recommend you ask your local installer or system designer for their advice.
For a full list have a read through our inverter compatibility list found on the Aeon Battery product page zenaji.com/aeon-battery/
If you have an inverter that’s not on the list that you think may be compatible feel free to contact us and we’ll double check for you.
I plan on installing a new solar power system at home, what inverter should I use?
For new installations, we recommend you use a Hybrid inverter. Hybrid inverters (otherwise known as Multimode inverters) connect to both your solar panels, your battery, your house and the grid. The Schneider Conext XW+ 7048 Eis one example of a hybrid inverter.
Hybrid Inverters can operate on and off-grid and both charge and discharge a battery with the grid or your solar system. Very useful for new solar plus battery systems as they operate as both a solar inverter and battery inverter.
A full list of compatibility Hybrid Inverters can found on the Aeon Battery product page zenaji.com/aeon-battery/
